SAMRUDI

WOMEN IN MICRO ENTERPRISES

Founded under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act 1956 on February 13, 2012, SAMRUDI is dedicated to transforming the lives of rural communities in India. With over 35-40% of rural residents facing unemployment or underemployment, poverty remains a critical issue.

With SAMRUDI, we recognize that the path to a better life begins with opportunity. Through our Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP), Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and Skill Development Programs, we work closely with KROSS and its 14 diocesan partners to empower individuals.

Our mission is to inspire and support rural residents to engage in sustainable livelihoods, fostering microenterprises that are vital for economic stability. By addressing unemployment and nurturing self-sufficiency, we are taking meaningful steps towards alleviating poverty and building a brighter future for all

Our Goal

We envision a Karnataka where 800 women’s organizations, led by passionate and empowered members, are at the forefront of change. By owning and controlling their institutions and resources, these women are challenging unfair power dynamics and striving for a fairer society.

Our mission extends to uplifting 6,000 women entrepreneurs, helping them achieve economic success and security. Through their success, we aim to enhance the lives of 30,000 individuals across Karnataka, improving their living standards and bringing hope for a brighter future.

Our Objectives

Every year, we are driven by a powerful vision: to empower 500 women from 800 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across Karnataka. These women will gain invaluable skills and receive dedicated business counseling, unlocking their full potential.

Our mission is to provide 500 women entrepreneurs each year with the technical and financial support they need to boost their income by ₹1,500 per month. This increase is not just a number—it's a lifeline that elevates families, strengthens communities, and transforms lives.

We are committed to nurturing and promoting 500 new entrepreneurs annually. Each new venture represents hope, determination, and the promise of a brighter future.
